New Delhi: January 21, 2017. (PCP) Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo of J&K National Panthers Party who is also Sr.Executive Member of Supreme Court Bar Association of India besides he holds office of Executive Chairman of Indo-Palestine Friendship Society has declared that he shall call on Mr. Gutress, Secretary-General of the United Nations and seek implementation of the UN Resolution vis-à-vis J&K as has been expressly desired by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Nawaz Sharief during his meeting with the UN Secretary-General only yesterday. Prof.Bhim Singh said that this was unfortunate that the United Nations Resolutions vis-à-vis J&K were not carried by Pakistan when the Security Council of the UN declared in January, 1948 that Pakistan should withdraw its forces from all occupied areas of J&K which had not been implemented by Pakistan. Prof.Bhim Singh who represented J&K National Panthers Party and the Non-Aligned Congress of Youth (NGO) at the United Nations several times had demanded that the United Nations should force Pakistan and the Govt. of Israel to implement its own resolutions passed in 1948 (vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir) and Resolution no. 338 and 242 (vis-à-vis Palestine) passed by the Security Council. Prof.Bhim Singh said that both Pakistan and Israel had violated the UN Resolutions for a period of over half a century. Both Israel and Pakistan have been getting immoral and unethical support of the western world including the USA, UK and France as well. Prof.Bhim Singh wondered how Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Nawaz Sharief could ask for the implementation of the Resolutions of the UN Security Council from the Secretary-General of the United Nations when the resolutions of January 13, 1948 clearly directed Pakistan to withdraw from all occupied territories of J&K. Pakistan had not withdrawn from the occupied territories, instead, Pakistan with the support of Anglo-American Bloc occupied 32000 sq. miles of J&K Territory of Gilgit and Baltistan in 1948. Pakistan instead of vacating this territory in pursuance of the UN resolution annexed this territory in 2009 declaring Gilgit-Baltistan as 6th province of Pakistan. Prof.Bhim Singh accused the Indian leadership for keeping quite and continued to play as a stooge in the hands of Anglo-American Bloc. He said that all the ruling political parties of India including the Congress, BJP and the communist bloc have been responsible for the present situation along the Indo-Pakistan and Indo-China borders. Prof.Bhim Singh expressed deep shock that the Indian leadership/Indian Parliament has never raised this issue of illegal occupation of Indian territory in Ladakh region which China occupied during the 1962 aggression. Prof.Bhim Singh rejected the allegations of Pak-Prime Minister that J&K was a disputed territory between India and Pakistan. The NPP Supremo said that there are three parties which have illegally occupied the territory of J&K (India after accession of the state in 1947) which are Pakistan, China and Bangladesh. The Panthers Party founder (JKNPP was founded in 1982) declared that he shall meet the Secretary-General of the United Nations and also send delegation to the United Nations to impress upon the UN to direct Pakistan and China to vacate the Indian territory in J&K. Prof.Bhim Singh said that the Panthers Party shall take the final decision on this issue when the party shall celebrate its 35th Foundation Day at Parade Ground, Jammu on 23rd March this year.
