Canada; The writers, intellectuals and poets around globe are expressing grave concern on stopping peace poetry CD album 'Aman Ki Rah" by the government of Pakistan which was set in melody by a Pakistani singer. A writer and poet Mr. Simon Leigh said " My guess is that peace being the natural enemy of a warlike government, to them, any song of peace sounds like a battle cry, even e.g. your lines" Mr. Leigh is member of Writers Union of Canada. Professor Dr. Ron Shafer of Indiana University, USA in a communiqué to Dr. Stephen Gill said ' I am grieved to learn of this. This speaks to the ugly and malicious forces of darkness unleashed in our world today that attempt to suppress beauty, truth, and holiness. My heart aches for you and for the dear people who could have been the joyful recipients of your efforts. May truth and right prevail over falsehood and evil? Persist in the right, my dear friend, and our good God, in His way and in His time, will assist you. Blessings in our Lord, Professor Dr. Aruna of Bharthiar University, Coimbatore, India expresses concern by these comments " It's really atrocious to know that a country which boasts of fighting terrorism should stifle the voice of international peace. By this action, the authorities of Pak are disappointing the peace-lovers not only in Pak but also in the whole world. At any cost peace must be given a chance and top priority must be accorded to the efforts of intellectuals, writers, and right thinking people all over the world. We should fight relentlessly and every attempt at thwarting must be countered with peaceful and democratic means. Long lives peace! Long live voices of peace,
