Pak-China Friendship is Ideal on the Globe says Chinese Cultural Councilor You Yi

Islamabad: September 23, 2016. (PCP) The Government and Chinese Nation holds in high esteem the bilateral relations with Pakistan. Pak-China Friendship is ideal on the globe and the reality of Pak-China Friendship is higher than the mountains of Himalayas and the deeper than the Arabia Ocean. Chinese Culture Office, Islamabad is organizing a galaxy of Chinese Cultural events to mark the 67th Anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China (1949-2016) across Pakistan under the umbrella of Chinese Embassy to further strengthen people to people contact between the people of Pakistan and China including the mega event of Chinese Cultural Performance at Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad next week. The Chinese Cultural Troupe from China is arriving Pakistan’s Federal Capital, Islamabad soon to show solidarity with the people of Pakistan to further strengthen Pak-China Friendship. The Chinese Cultural Troupe will stage their performance at Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) Auditorium on 28th September, 2016 including Chinese songs, dance and artistic shows for Pakistani Nation. These views were expressed by the new Chinese Cultural Councilor, Excellency You Yi who has recently joined his diplomatic assignment in Pakistan just 2 weeks ago. Eearlier, Mr. You Yi has served as a diplomat in Finland, Canada, New York City, USA, Netherlands and Ethopia. Expressing his personal sentiments proudly, new Chinese Cultural Councilor, You Yi said, “ I am very happy to come to Pakistan and consider Pakistan as my second home.”. Chinese Cultural Councilor, You Yi further added that “ I love the good people of Pakistan and pledge to work relentlessly enhancing bilateral and cultural cooperation and promoting mutual understanding between the people of Pakistan and Chinese Nation through broadening cultural understanding between the two countries”. He said for the past 67 years, Peoples Republic of China has made tremendous progress. In 1949, China’s GDP per capital was only 35 US Dollars. Now the GDP per capita reached 8000 US Dollars. He said “China is now the world’s second largest Economy and China’s trade with the rest of the world reached 4 trillion US Dollars last year. Pakistan should take maximum advantage of China’a Trade Policy. He added , “ Beijing and Islamabad have been close partners for decades, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a reflection of intensified and expanded bilateral cooperation at a time of rising Chinese geopolitical ambition and persistent concerns about Pakistan’s security and development. The CPEC is intended to promote connectivity across Pakistan with a network of highways, railways and pipelines accompanied by energy, industrial and other infrastructure development projects to address critical energy shortages needed to boost Pakistan’s economic growth. He said, “Eventually, the CPEC will also facilitate trade along an overland route that connects China to the Indian Ocean, linking the Chinese city of Kashgar to the Pakistani port of Gowadar. Chinese Cultural Councilor, You Yi thanked the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Ministry of Culture and other Pakistani Organizations for making the Celebrations of 67th Anniversary of founding of Peoples Republic of China (1949-2016) a great success in Pakistan. He also chanted the slogan of , “Pak-China Dosti Zindabad”.
