Mr. Nazir S Bhatti said that its good sign from MQM leadership to take any Christian in the cabinet in Sindh. Mr. Nazir Bhatti stressed upon other provincial and federal government to follow the MQM and take Christians in the cabinet to accept the facts that Christians are second biggest population in Pakistan after Muslims and they reserve right to share in power of state. Mr. Bhatti said that PCC believes in separate elections with dual voting rights in elections and shall keep on struggling to restore separate elections in Pakistan. He said that adopted Christian members in parliament under joint elections have no voice of community but they shall be forced to dance on their master's voice. He said that joint elections have been imposed on Christians. In a letter to MQM chief Altaf Hussain, The PCC chief said "We congratulate the members and leaders of MQM under your able and courageous leadership to adopt the Christian MPA in Sindh assembly of MQM, Mr. Yaqoob Ilyas Masih as minister in Sindh Cabinet. We hope that minority ministry shall be allocated to this first ever Christian Minster in Sindh province to settle the outstanding issues of Christians, Hindus and other religious minorities in Sindh Province. We congratulate your honor on sworn in of Dr, Abad as first governor from any political party in Pakistan in Jamali regime. We hope that Dr. Ishrat al Abad shall render his services as Governor of Sindh to the best standard maintained by the MQM in past for the poor masses of Sindh". In the message it was further added that "We also wish to bring in your kind notice that killers of Christian NGO Justice and Peace on September 25, 2002 at Karachi shall be arrested and brought to justice when Syed Sardar Ahmed have taken over the office of Home Ministry in Sindh under your leadership. We demand that compensation equal to Muslim shall be paid to the seven families of Justice and Peace and martyr Aslam Martin shall be honored by prayers in Sindh Assembly session to recognize his services as coordinator at Justice and Peace". On issue of separate elections Mr Bhatti wrote to MQM Chief Altaf Hussain That "We submit the demand of separate elections revival for minorities with dual voting rights in Pakistan. We hope that MQM shall support the Separate Electorate as Khan Liaqat Ali Khan was the in favor of Separate Elections for Indian Muslims and same he promised to the Pakistani Minorities during his premiership in Pakistan". The Pakistan Christian congress President Nazir S Bhatti said that we know that Christians members in parliament are puppets in the hands of the leadership of those Muslim parties which have adopted them under ill joint elections system and are not free to act but we believe that they can bring prayer motions in the floor for the Christian martyrs of Karachi in Sindh assembly and Bahawalpur, Islamabad, Murree, Taxila And Chianwali churches victims in Punjab assembly to raise voice for the arrests of militants involved.
