Knights Templar threatens move of Pakistani goods and services boycott if Rev. Parvez Masih not released. PCP Report.

Scotland. February 8. James R. Reese, KGOTJ, Grand Prior, Priory of the Holy Angels, Scottish Knights Templar in USA have said that Rev. Parvez Masih is our " cause celrbre" in Pakistan and his detention in jail have caused grave concern among the Kn
He said that we have been writing to the President Parvez Mushraf and Pakistani Ambassador in UK for his release but no action have been taken so far to set free Rev. Parvez Masih.
Mr. Reese said that Rev. Parvez Masih is innocent and we term his detention and arrest as wrongful confinement by the Pakistani administration.
Mr. Reese is Grand Prior of the Scottish Knights Templar in the USA with the headquarters in Scotland. The knights Templar have Priories in Scotland, Canada and Lebanon with large number of the following. The affiliation of Templar move in Europe, Australia and Russia make it worldwide effective organization to move the international community to press upon the government of Pakistan to end persecution of Christians in Pakistan.
Mr. Reese said " we condemned the Christians persecution in Pakistan" He urged the government of Pakistan to clarify the charges against Rev. Parvez Masih and his case proceedings in court of law. He said " we are contacting the Pakistani Christians to generate effective campaign for the release of persecuted Christians in Pakistan to press upon the government for release of all the Christians under blasphemy laws"
Mr. Reese said " we are contacting governments around the world as well as the governing bodies of the major Christian churches. We are preparing to ask for a worldwide boycott of Pakistani goods and services, and we believe that the impact of such a campaign would have a staggering effect on the Pakistani economy--but we do not wish to cause needless suffering if they release Rev. Parvez Masih".
