KHANEWAL. Jan 5. A Christian priest was shot dead here Monday when he was about to board a train to Lahore, the local police chief said.
"The unidentified assailants' sprayed a volley of bullets when the priest, Mukhtar Masih was on his way to Rail
District Police Offier Jamil Ahymed told the reporters. Khanewal is an important Southern Punjab district and known famous in cotton crop.
According to initial reports of postpartum, the priest was hit by three bullets and expired on the spot. However the initial investigation did not reveal any information about the cause of the killing.
