30 Oct 2019
New Delhi: October 29, 2019. (PCP) National Panthers Party, Chief Patron, Prof. Bhim Singh a Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India & former Legislator from Jammu – Kashmir questioned Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi how his government shall justify throwing away Indian Parliamentary delegation who had arrived in Srinagar to visit Kashmir Valley last month. The MPs delegation led by Shri Gulam Nabi Azad leader of Rajya Sabha (Parliament) had accompanied about two dozen Members of Parliament from different parties (except BJP) to visit Kashmir to interact the people and understand the situation the people of Jammu & Kashmir were facing. Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad with all other visiting MPs were detained and packed back to Delhi from Srinagar in the next flight. The Govt. did not allow the leader of Upper House of Parliament when he tried to visit Jammu. He was sent back in the next available flight.
Several sitting MPs from Kashmir including the former Chief Ministers stand detained with over 300 residents of Kashmir in jail. Prof. Bhim Singh asked the Prime Minister of India how he shall justify foreign MPs to visit Kashmir as guest of the Govt. when almost all political leaders either are locked in jails or banned entry to Jammu & Kashmir. What is the justification and the secret for inviting European MPs to Kashmir and to visit Kashmir at this time when Kashmir has been converted into a prison house? What is the secret behind this step by the Govt. of India inviting those who have been conspiring with militants against India?
