Police recovers stolen laptop of Government Girls High School
SUKKUR/LARKANA: August 22, 2015. (Nazir Siyal) Unresolved mystery of stolen 28 laptop of Government Girls High School recovered by the police, yet could not back by the inquiry-team, girls students continued to appeal for Laptop education in school.
According to the reports, the theft 28 laptops were recovered for a long but the girls’ students of Government Girls High School still waiting for the computers education on laptops; were stolen in collusion with staff some time back.
The inquiry team with the help of police recovered but since long these 28 laptops yet not handed over to the schools told the school teachers and students. The parents and students have appealed Secretary Sindh and other authorities to take notice of availability of laptops for proper education of girls.
While other, Provincial Secretary Education and Literacy Department Sindh Dr Fazlullah Pechuho extended his stay and paid surprise visits of different government Secondary and primary schools attendance and other issues here on Saturday.
During the visits of Larkana and Kamber Shahdadkot districts, Provincial Secretary Education and Literacy found several teachers and other staff absents from their duties sources told.
Objective behind his visit was to monitor educational activities and attendance of teachers and other staff, certain areas of Larkana and Kamber where before arrival of Secretary Education, schools administration made special announcement by loudspeakers to ensure the attendance of teachers and students, source said.
Secretary Education Fazallullah Pechuho also visited Government Girls High School Larkana, Government Girls College Larkana and Govt. Model High School Larkana, while in Kamber Government Boys High School Kamber city, Government Girls High School Kamber and several other schools.
During his visit to Government Girls English Medium School, found absent five female teachers and five other staff among Clerks, Chowkidars and directed the concerned officials of Education Department Larkana to serve show cause notices to all absentee employees.
Speaking with journalists on the occasion, Secretary Fazalullah Pechuho said that he is committed to bring the revolutionary reforms in education department for delivering of quality education to rebuilding the confidence of masses on public sector education.
He said that Sindh province has introduced first ever bio-metric system in education sector to streamline its record and connecting with database of NADRA detect the fake IDs, ghost employees and fake appointments, so that he will never move an inch from his commitment he told.
He termed it a landmark achievement of Sindh province, World Bank and other stakeholders have admired the steps for betterment of education department Sindh.
Pechuho also informed that he will visit all districts of Sindh to monitor the educational activities; there will no compromise on education objective, because it links with future development of Sindh and the country he committed.
Provincial Secretary Education and Literacy department yet no disclosed any schedule to further visits other the districts and surprise visits of schools will continued with all his team and monitors to check proper education standard.
