Christian nurses have been protesting and staging hunger strikes as reaction to such incidents, whenever any courageous nurse brings this in knowledge of some Christian associations and other staff, on not having proper enquiries or departmental actions against those involved culprits. It looks like a cry of a christian lady against the unjust behavior of Muslim administration but mostly nurses keep quite and are afraid to tell these incidents to any body else on the reasons as, the cultural values are set from centuries in sub continent that victims of rape are not taken as respectable and face the hate of family members which can make their lives a living hell, if their husbands came to know after marriage that his wife was victim of rape in past, on other hand the judicial proceeding of rape are so complicated, the rapists mostly survive and justice in not insured.

The one reasons, that majority of christian nurses are from rural areas of pakistan, they reach for this profession to support their families living in villages, having very limited resources to make both ends meet as peasant workers on the land of Muslims, when their lands were snatched from them after independence of pakistan in1947 and same distributed among the Muslim immigrants to newly born state of pakistan from eastern Punjab and central provinces from India. This is very important reason to keep Christian nurses silent on rape, abduction and discrimination from Muslim staff. Its fact that christian played very positive part in the heath department of pakistan by establishment of hospitals, nursing homes and heath care centers with efficient christian staff to provide service to humanity but in 1973, the PPP government nationalized these institution and the Christian staff was transfer to government hospitals with low medical facilities and sub standard professional availability not familiar to these christian staff.

The Muslim staff behaved as second-class staff and disrespected them being Christians. On these issues, Christian nurses tried to form 'christian nurses organization' but those nurses were transfer to far flung areas in rural vicinity and forced to leave their jobs, when they experienced the Muslim bureaucratic action against their unity, the campaign of unity of christian nurses became limited. The Christian social, religious and political organization also never gave due consideration to help to organist nurses.

Its need of time that all the christian elements to step forward to help nurses to gain unity to face decimation because christian nurses are very important part of christian society in pakistan and play an important role in revival of christian nation hood in Pakistan.
