Modi govt (GenVKS) should have known  China is not Pakistan hence PoK wouldn’t come to India by  propagandist statements (ii)- GEn VKS statement will only lead to further persecution of the people of POK by military of Pakistan and China

The  Minister of State in the Modi government (former Indian Army Chief Gen V.K. Singh) has issued a public statement that  Pakistan-occupied Kashmir will merge with India on its own, we just have to wait for some time as reported at https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/union-minister-vk-singh-says-pakistan-occupied-kashmir-will-merge-with-india-on-its-own-4381615 . This is the most irresponsible statement from the functionary of Modi government due to the reasons given below:- 

(1)- Before putting the burden of PoK merging with India on the people of PoK  (without telling whether people of PoK will declare their government in exile which will be recognized and helped by India militarily for coming out of military control of Pakistan & China or the people of PoK will carry out referendum for merger in India and then the world community militarily will facilitate its merger in India) Gen VKS should have known that the responsibility of carrying out plebiscite in united J&K lies with India after getting PoK free from outsiders and invaders as per IoA of J&K to India which reads as -[Consistently with their (GoI) policy that, in the case of any State where the issue of Accession has been the subject of dispute, the question of Accession Should be decided in accordance with the wishes of the people of the State, it is my Government’s wish that, as soon as law and order have been restored in Kashmir, and her soil cleared of the invader, the question of the State’s Accession should be settled by a reference to the people. (2)- When people talk about PoK (rather Pak occupied united J&K) it is not merely Pakistan occupied Kashmir (which is PoK plus Gilgit-Baltistan) but also China occupied J&K  (mainly Ladakh) hence it is quite understandable as to why GenVKS talked so in an un-solderly manner.  Because he seems to be afraid of the Indian military going to war against the combined military of China and Pakistan for retrieving the territories of united J&K from the sino-Pak military. 

(3)- But GenVKS forgot that  Pakistan is a country which may be carried away by such meaningless propagandist statements of Gen VKS but the same can’t be said about China. Some former Indian military generals in the past have talked about India capable of fighting two fronts war (combined against China and Pakistan) as mentioned also at https://theprint.in/opinion/india-can-win-a-two-front-war-by-learning-from-israeli-and-korean-forces-gen-naravane-writes/1721238/ ) but evn an ordinary Indian on street will tell that it is merely a hollow boast and the government of PM Modi of 56 inch chest doesn’t have courage to even think of waging two fronts war for retrieving PoK against Pakistan and Chine which has not vacated even the disputed territories it occupied in 2020 in eastern ladakh as claimed even by the then ruling  party’s Member of Parliament  Subramaniyanm Swamy in many TV Show programs including at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38MoQ_Z-kEg    

(4)_ This statement of GenVKS is all the more  baffling because everyone knows that India can’t fight war against  combined China and Pakistan without active military support of the USA hence just after the visit of Prez Biden to India (for G-20 summit) such statement from GenVKS will create an unnecessary confusion among the world community (which is bound to embarrass Prez Biden) whether Prez BIden gave green signal to India to retrieve militarily the PoK from the combined Sino-Pak military in a catastrophic war between three nuclear countries. 

That is why instead of making India a laughing stock among the world community it will serve India better if Gen BKS starts behaving in a professional & soldierly manner before issuing meaningless propagandist and escapist statements (which will only lead to further persecution of the people of POK by military of Pakistan and China) which has all the likelihood of two fronts war of India against the combined Sino-Pak military.
