Prez Trump ought to realize that he is the supreme commander of the armed forces of the USA hence his credibility, respect and clout is a matter of concern for every American and if he doesn’t preserve / defend these then patriotic Americans would never pardon / forgive him for such cowardice. That is the reason that when India is bent upon slighting Prez TRump on the issue of ceasefire and Kashmir problem Prez TRump ought to take a tough and principled stand for putting India at its proper place (which he can do easily as explained below) in the interest of solving the chronic & ghory Kashmir problem

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued an address to the nation as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXxeQvuYP6o in which Modi tried to counter the narrative created by US Prez TRump on three counts which had triggered (after tweets & statement to Press by  Prez TRump) huge controversy in India and dis-satisfaction among traditional electoral support base of the BJP led by PM Modi 

(i)- Prez Trump issued a tweet (https://www.republicworld.com/india/big-breaking-trump-tweets-india-and-pakistan-have-agreed-to-ceasefire ) that India and Pakistan agreed for ceasefire after long night of talks mediated by the USA this immensely angered the Indians especially the political supporters  of PM Modi because it was seen as violation of sovereignty of India where the USA could decide for  India about a ceasefire Hence PM Modi said in this addressed that DGMO Pakistan requested India for ceasefire  hence INdia did it. On this count PRez TRump need not take offence  because in public perception the DGMO Pakistan might have requested India for ceasefire due to mediation by or pressure from the USA in view of likely nuclear war as mentioned at https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/government/trump-claims-victory-in-preventing-india-pakistan-nuclear-war/ar-AA1EDloV?ocid=BingNewsSerp . because otherwise the USA was saying that it was non of its business https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/government/none-of-our-business-jd-vance-says-us-to-stay-out-of-india-pak-conflict/ar-AA1ErSWw?ocid=BingNewsSerp

(2)_ In his second tweet Prez Trump said that -”I will work with you both to see that after a thousand years a solution can  be arrived at concerning Kashmir. THough people in India made a joke of mention of 1,000 years in this tweet and 1,500 years in his earlier statement (https://trt.global/world/article/0de51668b76d ) and joked that Prez Trump is highly mis-informed (hence how can he solve Kashmir problem) because India and Pakistan came into existence only 78 years back after they both got independence in 1947  but what angered this BJP electoral support base and others in India the most, is the mention of Kashmir in this tweet.. Though Prez TRump might have referred to clash between Hindus and Muslims in Kashmir due to coming of Islam in Kashmir in the 8th century (hence about 1,300 years of conflict https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Kashmir ). But the more important and serious issue is of third party intervention in Kashmie dispute which India has always insisted that it is bilateral issue between India and Pakistan (also as per SHimla Agreement https://www.business-standard.com/external-affairs-defence-security/news/explained-what-is-india-pak-simla-agreement-and-why-it-still-matters-125042400936_1.html ) hence India will never accept the intervention of any other party.  That is the reason PM MOdi said in this address that “Today I wll tell the world community too that agar baat pakistan se hogi to terrorism aur Pak occupied Kashmir 

PoK us  par hi hogi” (if there will be a talk with Pakistan then it will be only on terrorism and PoK). But this is precisely the statement of PM Modi due to which  the task of Prez Trump in mediating the Kashmir problem has been  made easier by PM Modi (as explained below)in his address by mentioning the pre-conditions of terrorism & PoK :-

(A)-  India doesn’t consider J&K as integral part (‘abhinn ang’) of India because there is a Indo-Pak dispute that is why kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan as per Shimla agreement too and when the IoA of J&K to India talks about dispute  which reads as - “in the case of any State where the issue of Accession has been the subject of dispute”, as mentioned in IoA -”[Consistently with their (GoI) policy that, in the case of any State where the issue of Accession has been the subject of dispute, the question of Accession Should be decided in accordance with the wishes of the people of the State, it is my Government’s wish that, as soon as law and order have been restored in Kashmir, and her soil cleared of the invader, the question of the State’s Accession should be settled by a reference to the people. Then India has no right to say that J&K Is an integral part of India unless it is decided by the wishes of the people as mentioned in the IoA. 

(B)- As far as terrorism is concerned it can't be eliminated unless kashmir problem is solved which is evident from the fact that these terrorists are not merely from Pakistan but home grown from kashmir valley too as is clear from the case of Burhan Wani who’s killing by security forces of India in July 2016 triggered widespread agitation in Kashmir valley. Moreover in the case of April 22, 2025 Pehalgam terrorist case also (where all the perpetrators have not been apprehended so far) India can't say that no perpetrator (terrorist who killed and who supported these killers logistically or otherwise) is home grown from Kashmir valley especially given the fact that the houses of people suspected of supporting the terrorist were demolished https://frontline.thehindu.com/news/pahalgam-attack-kashmir-demolitions-pulwama-crackdown-collective-punishment/article69533825.ece

( C )- Before India presses the point of POK as precondition for any talks with Pakistan PrezTRump ought call a meeting of world community (of prominent leaders of the world) where TRump ought to tell them that - “[the world (including the USA) so far has bought the blatant lies of India (including when Parliament passed unanimous resolution over PoK in 1994 https://tfipost.com/2025/02/31-year-old-parliamentary-resolution-and-rsss-strategy-how-pok-will-reunite-with-india/ and when the SCI said that sovereignty transfer of J&K to India is absolute as https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/exclusive-reports-details/284 ) that united J&K Is an integral part of India as per the IoA of J&K to India]” -  but the fact is that this matter is to be decided by referring it to the wishes of the people as mentioned in the IoA itself as mentioned above. Therefore Prez Trump ought to ask the world community to ask India to honor its commitment which it accepted in this IoA to carry out referendum in united J&K by removing invaders and outsiders from the united J&K .

(3)- AS far as the third point which PM MOdi made in his address that India will not be blackmailed by nuclear threat, PREZ trump ought to be happy that his credibility as a responsible  leader of the free world (who works for avoiding catastrophic nuclear wars) is well established for the simple reason that in the public perception  Prez TRump went into action for mediating ceasefire between India and Pakistan when there were reports in media and may be intel with the USA that the nuclear command body of Pakistan were carrying out metting as reported also at https://www.firstpost.com/world/prime-minister-shehbaz-sharif-calls-meet-of-nuclear-command-body-after-pakistan-suffers-heavy-damage-in-indian-retaliation-13887161.html .

Prez TRump ought to also ask the world community to ask India that If PM Modi wants to talk about only terrorism and PoK then why India didn’t put these as necessary conditions before agreeing to the alleged Pakistani request by DGMO-Pakistan for ceasefire. 

At the same time the said referendum in united J&K which is easier said than done  can be achieved as mentioned fro S.No. 3 to 6 of my article https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4576 if Prez Trump makes effort to mobilize US_Christianity in the service of establishing and running the rule based human rights friendly global order. It will also help if some people in J&K move the Supreme Court of India to get order on the GoI to honour the commitment towards IoA and carry-out referendum after removing outsiders and invaders from United J&K in a time bound period along with its periodic progress report to the court. 

Therefore it is hoped Prez TRump will not disappoint the patriotic Americans and instead will take a tough and principled stand against the government of India led by PM MOdi which is unnecessarily bent upon humiliating & dis-respecting Prez Trump / the USA.
