Israel Day observed in Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Karachi: May 17, 2009. God’s Peoples Fellowship of Pakistan GPFP. a pro-Israeli religious organization and Christian Friends of Israel in Pakistan observed “Israel Day” at Karachi Press Club on May 15, 2009. The activist of GPFP held banners and placards in their hands where it was clearly written upon them to “recognize the holy state of Israel” “Pakistani Christians may be allowed to visit the Holy Bible land on Pakistani Passports” because Israel is a ground reality from which the Christianity is formed. Special Prayers were also held in different Churches of Karachi for the prosperity of Israel and its people. On this occasion, the Secretary General of GPFP Mr. Ashraf P. Butt Advocate and the Deputy Secretary Mr.Aamir S. Aziz along with the newly elected president of GPFP Mr. Kashif Patras, Mr.Shahbaz Ashraf and Pastor Mr.Bois Phillips of first United Presbyterian church of Essa Nagri, pressurized the Pakistani government and demanded to allow millions of Pakistani Christians for the pilgrim visit to the Holy Bible land of Israel so that they can perform their religious rituals and offer their prayers in the Sacred Holy Bible land of Israel as it is the religious rights of all Pakistani Christians. The officials of GPFP and the protesters chanted slogans in favour of Israel for their prosperity which was also recorded and covered by all Pakistani print and electronic media.
