LARKANA: May 31, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Public infuriated on the late arrival of Chief Minister Sindh Sayed Qaim Ali Shah on an Open Katchehry during hot weather, the police baton charged on people, several injured here at the Rest House Naudero on Sunday.
According to the reports, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah after offering Fateha on the Mazars of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Zulfikar Ali Bhuto and others, reached late hours in the open Katchery organized at Rest House Naudero by the Party.
The people on the occasion, holding large number of job applications and their genuine issues for their resolution at open katchery, they were enraged on the negligence of their problems and started protesting against Provincial Ministers Mohammed Ayaz Soomro, Agha Siraj Durani and Chief Minister himself.
The people on the occasion, torn their applications and shouted slogans against them and broken the furniture and glasses of rest house Naudero.
The Police baton charged on the hundreds of people holding applications among the poor men and women, during the event several injured and arrested on the occasion. The event was totally mismanaged and Chief Minister moved to the Circuit House Larkana along with Ministers and party leaders.
While, at Circuit House Larkana Syed Qaim Ali Shah attended the lunch hosted by Chamber of Commerce and Industry Larkana.
