Parvez Iqbal nominated as President of Holland PCC Chapter

Karrachi; January 11, 2010. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC Central Council approved nomination of Mr. Parvez Iqbal as President of Netherland PCC Chapter here today. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC, in a message, congratulated Mr. Parvez Iqbal on his nomination as Holland PCC President and expressed hope that PCC will be more effective political force in EU to support persecuted Pakistani Christians. Mr. Daud Illays Ghauri was also nominated as PCC Coordinator in Germany who will work for Pakistan Christian Congress to establish PCC Germany Chapter. Mr. Morris Sadiq, Secretary General of PCC Central Council congratulated Mr. Ghauri and extend him full cooperation of PCC. Pakistan Christian Congress PCC is only political party of 20 million Pakistani Christians struggling for equal basic democratic rights of Christians in Pakistan. PCC filed lawsuit in Lahore High Court to repeal blasphemy law while Church bodies in Pakistan cashed issue and collected millions but never dared to challenge controversial law in any higher court of Pakistan. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, in a message to PCC leader Watson Gill based in Europe urged to expedite organizational structure work of PCC in EU.
