Walayat Masih flees from Gujranwala to safe his family

Rawalpindi: January 29, 2010. (PCP) A Christian Walayat Masih resident of Gujranwala fled from his hometown to safe lives his family when police denied to register case against Muslims who burnt down his home on January 26, 2010. He approached PCC leaders in Rawalpindi and complained about administration and no response from Christian in government. Walayat Masih is at present in Rawlpindi in hiding with his family and Mr. Mehboob Alam and Xavier William are supporting them with limited resources. As for the claims made that Walyat Masih didnt contact any Christian political or religious leader. He has lost the house he build with the earnings of his life, he has nothing left. His eldest son was murdered a year and a half ago by Abdul Sattar Kombot and Mohammad Aslam Kombot, they crushed under a trolley. Now he is receiving threats from the Kombot brothers that if he tells any one his family will be in big trouble. The Kombot are among the influential groups of the village Sadhokay. The PCC leaders are trying to contact the DPO, CPO, DCO and the SHO, but they are not cooperating. MNA Akram Gill has been contacted, he is saying he will talk to the authorities and will try his best to get this matter in the notice of the Government. Mr. Mehboob Alam tried to contact MPA Kamran Micheal and Shahbaz Bhatti, but was unable to make a contact.
