Srinagar: March 4, 2010. (PCP) Senior Hurriyat Leader and Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing delegates of district Kupwara, Baramulla, Budgam and Srinagar at PL central office Srinagar today said that the Kashmir issue could be settled through comprehensive dialogue and Kashmiri leadership’s involvement in it was indispensable. Waza maintained that people of Kashmir are the cardinal party to the K-issue and their viewpoint is of paramount importance. Waza said that India must respect the human rights & aspiration of people of Kashmir must be respected. Waza reiterated that dialogue between India & Pakistan will not bring any results until the full participation of true representative of people of Kashmir are not allowed to sit in three party dialogue. Waza maintained that root cause of the dispute is Kashmir, so if India is not ready to solve the basic issue and not serious to discuss with people of Kashmir then dialogue will be just a joke. Mukhtar Waza strongly condemns the malevolent action against the innocent people by Indian troops at Chinkipora in Sopore. “Indian troops have beaten up the children, women and the old aged people while set many houses on fire,” added. “Troops can’t break the courage and determination of pro-freedom people by using tyrannical methods.”, Waza said. Waza emphatically urge upon the rulers of Pakistan and India to say goodbye to the anachronistic mindset of belligerency and polarization and act as responsible democracies of South Asia to concede to Kashmiris “right to self determination”. We believe that free Kashmir will play the role of a pacifist in South Asia to galvanize Asian Nation into a Universal process of Pacifisicm and altruism. Tri-lateral discourse of Kashmir is indispensable paramount to guarantee peace in South Asia.
