LARKANA: April 24, 2010. (Nazir Siyal report for PCP) The Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that the nation proud of PPP martyrs Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, who gave great scarifies for the rights if downtrodden people. This he said while addressing the public gathering here on Friday. Nisar Khuhro said the country proud on President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on his efforts for 18th amendment in the constitution and restored 1973 constitution in the larger interest of the nation. He said during the last two years PPP worked for the welfare of people and struggling to complete the mission of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, added that the job opportunities have been provided to the educated youth of country by implementing the vision of Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto with letter and spirit. Speaker Khuhro said it is the basic right of the people to provide them basic facilities of education, health, roads and other amenities at their door steps. He appealed to the people to be united and follow the foot steps of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s mission, it is all of our duty to strengthen democracy in the country and be united to make the atmosphere of brotherhood in the larger interest of the nation, he also said such elements will not succeeded to destabilize the democratic government. On the occasion, Fida Hussain Tunio PPP President unit-11 Khaliq Colony Larkana welcomed chief guest and other participants in gathering. During the gathering Dr. Nazir Ahmed Shaikh, Khalid Iqbal Memon, Dr. Shafqat Hussain Soomro, Aftab Ahmed Bhutto and other leaders, workers were present on the occasion. Later, the Lunger (Khairrat) was also distributed among the people to give Esal-e-Sawab to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Earlier, the Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro inaugurated PCR Hepatitis Laboratory and Blood Bank at CMC Hospital Larkana with a cost of Rs. 12 Million, which the patients of Hepatitis-B will be checked free of cost here at laboratory. While addressing on the occasion, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that the present government was striving hard to provide health facilities to the people at their door steps and hoped that this laboratory will prove a beneficial for the patients of Hepatitis. On the occasion the Programme Manager Abdul Majeed Chuto informed that under the directives of Chief Minister Sindh the special Hepatitis Programme was started in the province with a cost of Rs. 2.70 Billion, besides MS. CMC Hospital Larkana Dr. Zulifqar Siyal highlighted the performance of the hospital on the occasion. VC SMBBMS Prof: Sikandar Ali Shaikh, Dr. Shafqat Hussain Soomro and Khair Muhammad Shaikh also spoke in the ceremony, which was largely attended by the doctors and the para-medical staff PPP leaders and workers on the occasion.
