Pakistani Christians actively participated in Pakistan Festival 2010 in Holland

Holland: June 07, 2010. (PCP) First Pakistan Mela 2010 organized by the Embassy of Pakistan with collaboration of Pak- Dutch Council in Holland on June 06, 2010, was largely attended by Pakistani community here. The participants enjoyed Festival by different sports like Volley Ball, Kabadee, Rassa Kashee, Football and many more. The major attraction was Children’s Fancy Dress show. Valuable Prizes were also given away through Lottery Lucky Draws. Dozens of stalls were settled in Festival having Pakistani, Food, Fruits, Sweets, Dresses, and Ornaments etc... In a Musical show, Pakistani Singers in Solo and Groups performed and made Pakistani community able to enjoy and clap despite time to time rain falls. Prominent Folk Singer Shaukat Ali, and Shabbir Hussain Jaree, Pride of Performance Award Holder Tabla Nawaz from Pakistan specially were invited to perform and entertain Pakistani Community in Holland. during their performance there was heavy Rains but Pakistani community enjoyed their performance with great shout and non stop dancing in front of stage. Pakistani Christian Community In Holland also played their active role showing everlasting Love towards their homeland through their participation and cooperation organizers of Pakistan Festival 2010. Father Eric, lead Urdu Church Rotterdam's singers group by performing National Songs (Millie Naghma's) Dill Dill Pakistan, Shonee Dhartee and more in opening Sessions of Pakistan Festival 2010. Their performance took all attention of Festival participants with great appreciation by the chief guest and organizers. Stall with Pakistani Dresses and readymade garments settled by Christian Family took all attention being one of the attractive stalls in Pakistan Festival 2010. Parvez Iqbal, TV and stage Compare (Gold Medalist) in Pakistan, Chairman Pakistan Christian Congress Holland Chapter and Coordinator, South Asian Christians Writers Association was asked to host and compare Musical program during Pakistan Festival 2010. His hosting/comparing experiences of live shows were again appreciated and acknowledged by all audiences, performers and organizers.
