Sindh Law Minister reviews construction progress of SMBB law college

LARKANA: June 7, 2010. (By Nazir Siyal) Sindh Minister for Law and Parliamentary affairs Muhammad Ayaz Soomro has emphasized upon the officers of Works and Service department Larkana about the schemes being carried out in different sectors in time and ensure the quality of the work, the slackness in this regard will not be tolerated at any cost, this he said while presiding over a high level meeting to review the progress of construction work of government SMBB Law College Larkana at DCO Camp office here on Monday. The meeting was briefed that the scheme was approved with cost of 61 Million and the work was started and it required more funds for completing the scheme in due course of time. The Minister assured the meeting that the required amount will be provided in this regard in due course of time. He also said that the stone lying ceremony was performed by the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and he hoped that the allocated amount in this connection will also be provided accordingly and he re-iterated that the mission of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto will be completed at any cost. The Minister also said that by completing the scheme the students of Law of upper sindh area will be benefited. The meeting also reviewed and discussed regarding the construction of Regional Directorate of Ombudsman Office at Larkana. During the meeting Xen Provincial Buildings Larkana briefed the Minister for construction of Regional Directorate of Ombudsman Office at Larkana. He assured that the construction work of the Regional Directorate of Ombudsman Office at Larkana will be started very soon in the Public interest. During the Meeting District Coordination Officer Larkana Syed Hassan Naqvi gave suitable suggestions regarding the construction of Regional Directorate of Ombudsman Office at Larkana. The Minister opined that by completion of the scheme the relief and Justice will be provided to the people of Larkana in time and the Office will play its role to decide the complaints of different departments in time, in this regard speedy justice will be provided to the people of upper Sindh area. The meeting was largely attended by the EDO Revenue Asadullah Abro, Regional Director of Ombudsman Larkana Zulqurnen Abro, Representative of Government SMBB Law College Larkana, President Chamber of Commerce and Industry Larkana Khair Muhammad Shaikh and other concerned officers.
