LARKANA: July 5, 2010. (By Nazir Siyal) Provincial Minister for Transport Akhtar Hussain Jadoon has said that the present government was taking serious steps to the skills and capacity development of Transport drivers regarding their skills and technical trainings and the BBSYDP will be a development step in the trainings of transport department. This he said while speaking to the cheques distribution ceremony to the 700 trainees in different categories in Sindh here at Nizamani Labour Hall. Minister for Transport said that next phase of trainees will be trained in different categories including LTV, HTV, Motor Car, Scooter, Rickshaw, Jeep, tractor, Bulldozers, Crane, lifter, heavy machinery equipments and other fields. He said proper driving and maintenance of the vehicle is the skill and art by the drivers, they must learn more about the technical aspects of the field. He said the BBSYDP trainings are the break through in the society, to over come traffic management in the cities he said. Jadoon said the vision of Benazir Bhutto was to take all the sectors of the society to the top and skill them and capacity development of different sectors by the trainings in their fields he said. Minister, on the occasion, condemned the dictator Zia and said that he ruled over night the democratic government and hanged Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, added the country have pushed back decades over and still various problems faced by the elected democratic government. He said Benazir Bhutto was also assassinated by those, who don’t want to see change and development in Pakistan. Later, Provincial Minister distributed cheques among the trainee drivers of Larkana, Qamber-Shahddad kot and Dadu districts, those who completed 2nd phase trainings of BBYSDP, while future projects of training will be announced very soon in Sindh. Earlier, the Minister for Transport Akhtar Hussain Jadoon along with Projector Director Sindh BBSYDP, Yar Mohammed Jaat, RTA Secreatary Larkana Anwer Ali Shah, Director Al-Mustafa Driving School Larkana Ghulam Murtaza Mangi, visited Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and offered Fateha at the Mazars of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and laid floral wreaths on the graves on the occasion.
