PCC and MYM decide united struggle for equal rights of Christian in Pakistan

New York: August 7, 2010. (PCP) The Chief of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and Chairman of Minorities Youth Movement MYM finalized a memorandum of agreement to launch united struggle for the equal basic democratic rights of Christians in Pakistan. Mr. Yeshoo Ezra, Chairman, Minorities Youth Movement, who is in Korea now a days and Mr. Nazir Bhatti, President, Pakistan Christian Congress who is based in USA, via Teleconference discussed today the issues of Christians in Pakistan and on need of unity among different Christian social, religious, Youth and political groups. The Christian leaders expressed concern on recent incidents of violence against Christian in Pakistan. They demanded government of Pakistan and Supreme Court of Pakistan to ensure justice in killing of Christian Brothers in Faisalabad and rape case of Magdalene Ashraf in Karachi. PCC Leader praised actions of MYM and termed them in best interests of Youth in Pakistan. Especially the main concern of bright future of Christians and other minority’s youth in education by introducing scholarship programs. Mr. Nazir Bhatti President of PCC assured MYM that PCC will stand with them and shall support youth cause. In best interest of Pakistani Christian nation, PCC and MYM agreed to cooperate with each other on every issue in Pakistan and Yeshoo Ezra Chairman, MYM announced Black day on this minority’s day 11 august 2010. The head office of MYM in Lahore Pakistan and Central Secretariat of PCC in Karachi Pakistan willfully endorsed decision made by their leaders and expressed satisfaction on Unity of both forums.
