LARKANA: October 17, 2010. (PCP) Sindh Sahafi Sangat (SSS) working for the rights of Journalists on Saturday held meeting about the various issues of media persons including Wage Award and family Health, Education, employment and others. Journalists community also vowed to continue their struggle and come out of their community of crises due to the flood hit and damages of their properties/businesses. The meeting presided over by the Larkana district President Nazir Siyal along with large number of Journalists of tehsil Ratodero, Naudero, Dokri, Badah, Bakrani, Gerelo cities demanded to protect media person from fake cases by the police and departments, injustices and threats. Sindh Sahafi Sangat (SSS) also called upon the authorities to protect the rights of Journalists and Wage Board Award as well as the basic opportunities to the media men. The meeting expressed grief over the damages of properties, land, houses and businesses of Journalists’ community of Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Khairpur Nathan Shah Jacobabad, Mehar, Dadu, Johi, Garhi Khairo, Qubo Saeed Khan, Warrah, Lalu Rank and other parts of Sindh. On the occasion, SVP, Barkat Ali, General Secretary Yaseen Mashori, Joint Secretary Abdul Jabbar, Treasurer Asif Chandio, Information Secretary Mohammed Saleh Mughal, senior members Iftekhar Shah, Abdul Qadir Jagirani, Imtiaz Ali Gorar, Qazi Aijaz, Sarwer Gadhi, Ghulam Abbas Dhoki, Hafeez Mangi, Rana Aijaz, Zamir Hussain Bhutto, Shaad Bhutto and others were present. Meanwhile, Sindh Badminton Association (SBA) held new elections year 2010-2014, according to the announcement a Larkananian elected as President unanimously for SBA 2010-2014. SBA Office bearers including the President Nisarullah Shaikh, Vice President Saleem Paracha and Honarary Secretary Sayed Jalaluddin, Associate Secretary Agha Gul Rabbani, Treasurer Gufran Bukhari and others elected unanimously for the election 2010-2014 told official.
