LARKANA: November 12, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) The Human trafficking figure of men, women and children is above 2000 in Pakistan, while in Sindh 474 cases, Punjab 922, NWFP/Pukhtoonkhuwa 150 and 59 found in Balochistan told President Legal Lawyers for Human Rights and Legal Aid (LHRLA) Advocate Zia Ahmed Aiwan here on day workshop titled on Training for the Creation of Counter Human Trafficking District Task Force here on Friday.
Speaking to the event, Advocate Zia Aiwan said that there are certain factors and issues in Human trafficking, these including poverty income, Unemployment, Inflation and withdrawal of subsidies, exclusion of women from the mainstream, bankruptcy of opportunities and others.
He said the political instability, political culture and corruption, lack of knowledge and other issues are increased in trafficking of human he told.
Human Right activist told that there is role of government in stopping the human trafficking, while social, political and legal issues are common in the increase of smuggling.
On the occasion, National Program Officer International Organization of Migration (IOM), Abdul Rauf Shaikh representative of FIA Islamabad, Samreen Naz of LHRLA, local in charge women and child Rizwana Turk, CRC representatives Nighat, Rashida, Nazir Ahmed, CDNF head Faiz Mohammed Bhanger and others were spoke about the human trafficking.
