New York: December 7, 2010. (PCP) Pakistani Christian Association in America and other organizations in New York will stage protest in front of Pakistani Consulate in New York at 10.00 AM, on December 10, 2010, for immediate release of Asia Bibi and repeal of blasphemy law.
The death sentence to Christian mother of five Asia Bibi have sparked anger in Pakistani Christian Diaspora in United States and different organizations are contacting their area Congressman and Senator in US congress to press upon government of Pakistan to release Asia Bibi and repeal of blasphemy law in Pakistan.
Mr. William Shahzad, Chairman of Pakistani Christian Association in North America PCA called meeting of different Pakistani Christian associations and Churches to invite them to join protest in front of Pakistan Mission in New York.
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of PCC and PCA, Mr. Babar Khokhar, General Secretary of PCA urged government of Pakistan to ensure safty of Asia Bibi in jail.
