To safe Asia Bibi, A UK Councillor struggles in Pakistan

Islamabad: December 13, 2010. (PCP) Mr. Raza Anjum, Councillor in Saffron Walden in UK, is in capital city of Pakistan, campaigning for release of Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of five, sentenced to death on defiling name of Prophet Mohammad. Raza Anjum was elected on seat of Councillor in Saffron Walden in 2007, as youngest councillor of age 22, in history of United Kingdom, after graduating in law from University College London. His father is also elected councillor in Essex County. He have managed appointments with Prime Minister of Pakistan, Governor of Punjab and Federal Minority Minister to present concerns of Pakistani Christian on death sentence to Asia Bibi. In order to raise further international media attention to the case and to request her release, Raza Anjum is ready to meet every one who may support in release of Asia Bibi. Asia Bibi is in Seikhupura Jail and Lahore High Court have put her appeal in pending against death sentence by ADSJ Nankana and her family have lost hope that she will be with family to celebrate Christmas. Raza Anjum have announced that he will celebrate Christmas with Asia Bibi in jail instead of his family in UK, to express solidarity with her family.
