Pakistani Christian Diaspora in USA to protest against assassination of Shahbaz Bhatti

New York: March 15, 2011. (PCP) Pakistani Christian Diaspora in United States will protest in front of United Nations Offices in New York on March 24, 2011, to condemn assassination of Federal Minority Minister Shahbaz Bhatti. Martr Shahbaz Bhatti was gunned down on March 2, 2011, in Islamabad, when heading for Cabinet meeting. The militants sprayed 30 bullets on his car and he died on spot while Islamic terror outfit Tehreek Talaban Punjab accepted responsibility of killing Shahbaz Bhatti and vowed to kill every one who speaks to repeal or amend blasphemy law in Pakistan. The Pakistani Christian Churches in Tri-state area will also line up in front of UN offices in NY on March 24, 2011, to offer special prayers. The Pakistani Christian Christians in North America were shocked by the news of killing of Shahbaz Bhatti who was campaigning against blasphemy law. Salman Taseer, Governor of Punjab was also gunned down by his security guard on January 4, 2011, who was seeking pardon for Christian mother of 5, Asia Bibi, sentenced to death on accusation of blasphemy. Today on March 15, 2011, Qamar David was killed in Karachi jail who was serving life sentence on charges of blasphemy.
