JSQM urges media to monitor Census in Sindh

LARKANA: April 3, 2011. (Nazir Siyal) Chairman Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Bashir Khan Qureshi has said that 50 million Sindhi demands from the leadership of MQM that they should include them as Sindhi in an upcoming national census drive and prove themselves as a real son of soils (Sindhi). This he said while talking to the newsmen here at Larkana Press Club here on Saturday. Qureshi also urged upon the media that they should play their role in national issue and monitor the census activities throughout Sindh he said. He also said more than 28 countries outsiders/aliens are residing in Sindh as well as they will not accept those who migrated after 1954 if they should not be registered in the national census drive. They also could not exercise their vote in general election. He criticized the policies of the present PPP led government that the big cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and others have been handed over to the political partners/allies of PPP government on pretext of reconciliation policy, which will not be tolerated at any cost he said. He said 15 million flood affected marooned are wandering at different camps and open skies/places, so that we expect not registration of their in lists.
