(PCP Karachi ) An appellant Court of Karachi vide orders dated 30-03-2005 has dismissed the appeal filed by the Reverend Sadiq Daniel of Karachi against the order of the Honorable Civil Court of Karachi dated 25-02-2004 in Civil Suit no. 150/2004 vide which the Honorable Civil Court restrained Reverend Sadiq Daniel from exercising any authority as the Bishop of Karachi Diocese, while passing those orders the Honorable Court also observed that since Reverend Sadiq Daniel became bishop overnight by rigging the impugned elections of the Bishop of Karachi (dated 14-02-2002) and no finality has been reached in the litigation pending adjudication before the apex Courts regarding the office of the Bishop of Karachi, Reverend Sadiq Daniel cannot exert authority as Bishop of Karachi. The Honorable Ist Additional District and Session Judge Karachi in CMA no. 08/2004 heard both the parties and rejecting the grounds taken up by the appellants the Honorable Judge dismissed the appeal of Reverend Sadiq Daniel with no orders as to cost. It is noteworthy that Reverend Sadiq Daniel illegitimately transferred, suspended and terminated the services of Reverend Naimat Nirdosh of St. Andrew Church (Kashmir Colony) Karachi and Reverend Naseem Manasee of St. Thomas Church (AzamBasti) Karachi. In both the cases following the planned practice Reverend Sadiq Daniel went to the Court to get Stay Order against the above-named Pastors and the Honorable Courts in both the cases vide separate judgments upheld the sentence of the Pastors Naimat Nirdosh and Naseem Manasee whereby they refused to accept Reverend Sadiq Daniel as the legal and constitutional Bishop of Karachi. The Courts in the said orders have turned down the applications, appeals and claims of Reverend Sadiq Daniel and his so-called Diocesan Secretary and appointees.
