Islamabad: July 6, 2011. (PCP) Naib Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Senator Prof. Khurshid Ahmad in his letter addressed to the Prime Mianister and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs has condemned in strongest terms the shocking report about the US Embassy functiion to honour the gay and lesbeans in Islamabad. “A bunch of Pakistanis were especially invited to the ceremony obviously to glamourise these develish traits to which even the Western society is generally averse”, he pointed out. “Such obnoxious activities constitute a cultural terrorism and ideological attack on Pakistani society and its religious and cultural moorings”, Prof. Khurshid stressed.
“Since when foreign missions have been given the liberty to impose their perverted values on our society? “, he asked the Prime Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Prof. Khurshid requested the Prime Minister to take serious notice of this moral and cultural attack on Pakistan and its society.
