KT observed hunger strike against load shedding, inflation and lawlessness

LARKANA: August 21, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Khaksar Tahreek Larkana chapter observed protest demonstration and token hunger strike against the increasing load shedding, inflation, unemployment, lawlessness and other atrocities here before Larkana Press Club on Saturday. KT activists shouted slogans against PPP rulers for failing to control law and order situation in Karachi. On the occasion, Pir Bux Abbasi, Naiz Balouch, Muhammad Yousif, Mushtaque Chana and others said that the present rulers are be-fooling the masses by reconciliation policies to prolong their government, added added that the rulers are reluctant to reduce problems of public. KT leaders criticized on government policies to controlled corruption in several institutions and misusing the mandate of masses. Meanwhile, General Secretary JUI Sindh Senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro has said that hundred and thousands people have been displaced due to torrential rain and flood, which several breaches in LBOD, resulted displaced villagers, but the government and elected representatives are reluctant to provide relief to poormarooned people in difficult time. They further said thousands men and women along with their children are living in open sky without tents and shelters; they have no other facilities which is injustice. He strongly condemned policies of present rulers to distribute relief stuff among their favorites and relatives. On the other hand flood victims are facing starvation and hunger, he called for immediate draining out of flood water from inundate cities and villages and rescue stranded people he said. Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro expressed concern over the target killings and blood shedding of innocent people in Karachi. He said rulers have completely failed to protect the economical hub of country. On the occasion, he demanded immediate operation against the involved terrorists in target killings and uprising in Karachi.
