Special yellow dresses for 10000 Pakistani Christians to mark them Untouchable

Lahore: November 23, 2011. (PCP) J Salik Convener World Minorities Alliance, Former Federal Minister and a noble peace prize nominee and 5 times independently elected member Said that in Lahore 10 thousand sanitary workers are unlawfully converted in contract of 7 years with Turkish companies and also specified yellow color for these workers yellow color singe of heat women also wear this color during their working hours. Punjab Govt. allots yellow color to men and also women sanitary workers as uniform in Lahore. We protest on this shameful act. We refuse this discrimination of Punjab Govt. In Islamabad when CDA allotted Yellow jacket we protested on this act of CDA and CDA get back orders to wear yellow jackets in Islamabad. J.salik emphasis that there are other discrimination on political scenario. It’s against the article 226 which says that all elections under the Constitution shall be by secret ballot under constitutions 1973 of Pakistan in which clearly mention that voting system must be secret. J.Salik challenging the ordinance in 2002 in which a large bench namely Chief Justice Sheikh Riaz, Justice Muneer A Sheikh, Justice Nazim Hussain Siddique, Justice Iftikar Chaudry Muhammed and Justice Qazi Mohammed Farooqi stated their views. Justice Muneer Sheikh also verified it as an injustice and suggested that a change is required for electing the minorities and ladies reserved seats during the hearing in October 2002. Similarly Justice Khalil Ul Rehman Said on 28th September 2010 the present parliament has not made any law regarding the minorities and Chief Justice Iftikar Chaudry said that the choosing of the minority members in the Parliament is against the Article 226. On the other hand on 6th September 2010 Justice Javed Iqbal said that the present way of electing on the reserved seat is the opposite of democratic reign. After that we are still waiting for next hearing of Supreme Court.
