Tribute paid to Allama Iqbal at Cadet College Larkana

LARKANA: November 25, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Major General Asghar Nawaz GOC 16 Division and Chairmain BOGs Cadet College Larkana presided over All Pakistan Elite Institutions Talent Contest at Auditorium Hall at Cadet College Larkana and paid rich tributes to Allama Iqbal’s thought and vision. Speaking on the occasion, he advised the students to follow the footsteps of Allama Iqbal, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and other pioneers of freedom to be united equipped themselves with character and leadership, added that they should profundity of thought meet the challenges of ever-expending cosmos, which the Allama Iqbal wants us to put in ourselves as best human’s in the real sprit and actual realization that he calls Khudi. He complimented the caliber of the participants of the Hafiz-e-Iqbal Competition and quality of the essays, as well as he appreciated the efforts of the little students of Model School Cadet College Larkana too, they also presented Iqbal’s Dua which was lauded by the audience. He congratulated those students’ boys and girls who got trophies for their Institutions and all those who so warmly participated in this Talent Contest organized by the Cadet College Larkana and he extended special felicitations to the principal, teachers and cadets of this college organizing a prestigious programme of National level. He also expressed his satisfaction and announced an amount of Rs; 2 lack for the College .Major General Asghar Nawaz GOC 16 division distributed prizes/ shields among the position holder students who participated in all Pakistan Elite Institution Talent Contest who have come from 18 famous Institutions from all over the country. The Principal of the College S.M Yousif presented College Memento to the Chief Guest.
