Salman Taseer became victim of insecurity being even Governor of Punjab

Karachi: January 4, 2012. (PCP) Under the Chairmanship of Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, MPA, Chairman Standing Committee on Minority Affairs and President All Pakistan Minorities Alliance Sindh, an Executive Committee Meeting of PMA was held in which minorities political and welfare problems were discussed in which special prayers on first Death Anniversary of Mr. Salman Taseer former Governor Punjab were conducted. On this occasion APMA Sindh President Saleem Khursheed Khokhar appreciated the services of Salman Taseer former Governor Punjab who dedicatedly serve the Peoples Party and followed the footsteps of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto particularly in the cases of Minorities in the Pakistan due to which Salman Taseer, Former Governor Punjab who supported a Christian Lady Asia Bibi who had been falsely accused under Blasphemy law on which the Former Governor’s Fundamentalist Security Guard on duty brutally murdered / killed Mr. Salman Taseer former Governor Punjab which is matter of serous concerned. Such people with Islamic extremists are danger to the Society in Pakistan. Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar said that it is highly deplorable that the Governor of Punjab failed to protect slain Governor’s family as it has been observed that former Governor’s family are extended life threats of which we condemn, therefore we appeal to the Government of Punjab to provide adequate security and protection to the former Governor’s family and Christian lady Asia Bibi who is awaiting execution.
