All Pakistan Churches Conference in Sindh

Thatta: April 25, 2012. (PCP) A meeting of the All Churches Conference was held at Sada Centre, District Thatta Sindh on 25th April 2012 at 11:30 am Church of Pakistan, Roman Catholic Church, Salvation Army Church, Philadelphia Pentecostal Church, 7th Day Church and other representatives attended this meeting applauded and appreciated the constructions of roads and development works in the area where Christians are residing in Thatta District and thanked Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar for developments works. In this meeting it was resolved as under: - 1) It was resolved that the powerful Mafia be booked and action be taken against such people who have fraudulently and coercively alienated and transferred the agricultural land and properties of Christians on their names and deprived them of their rightful ownership in the Record of Rights. 2) It was further resolved that the Christians Haris / Prisons be provided agricultural lands and adequate facilities in District Thatta. It is pertinent to mention and note that on the above subject matter enquiries have been conducted by the different Government departments but so far no fruitful result have been displayed to alleviate the sufferings of Christians Haris in District Thatta. On this occasion Rev. Sarwar Nasir, Rev. Shahid Saghar, Sadhu Sher, Father Pervez, Sister Nasreen and Saleem Khursheed Khokhar MPA & Chairman Standing Committee on Minorities Affairs Sindh were also present and expressed their concerns.
