HFF Faisalabad organize seminar on Women Rights in Jhang

Jhang, Pakistan: July 16, 2012. (PCP) Humanity First Foundation Faisalabad Pakistan organized a great event in Jhang on July 14, 2012. HFF is focusing on strengthening women rural and urban in the districts of Faisalabad and Multan and Jhang and surrounding areas. The event was more than successful event on the history of Jhang nonprofit organization. It had record participation of women. The attendance sheet was filled up to 200 signatures. Representatives of different media agencies were also there. Geo Tv, Aaj Tv, Waqat Tv, Sohni Dharti Tv, and the print Media, Daily Jang, Daily NawaeWaqt, daily Din, PaiameJhang and etc. The seminar was started with the Scriptures of Holy Bible and Holy Quran because both communities were gathered there. Social Worker Mr. Qamar Zaidi was responsible for controlling the stage and inviting guest speakers on the podium. Mr. Hamid Abdullah a senior lawyer’s speech on women’s rights was appreciated by the participants and the participants also appreciated the efforts of Humanity First Foundation and thanked Executive Director Mrs. Fakhra Perveen for organizing such event in the city like Jhang Sadar where most organization do not even think to go. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Female) also spoke to the women during her speech and pushed rural women to come forward and fight for their rights. Asia Foundation’s Gull Zaidi came up with a wonderful poem written on women’s rights which was appreciated by the participants. At the end of the seminar the participants were treated with famous dish of Jhang Chilli Rice and cold drinks as it was lunch time. Humanity First Foundation’s President Mr. Tanveer Gulzar thanked all the participants and volunteers for the great event and promised to keep doing the good work for the women by the help of women.
