SHEIKHUPURA, Pakistan: A 25-year-old Christian man remains in critical condition after being shot during a violent altercation in a
LARKANA: August 2, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) MNA Faryal Talpur called on the SESCO Larkana officials meeting regarding the load shedding and tripping of electricity in Larkana to resolve issues of public here on Thursday.
MNA Faryal Talpur directed SEPCO Chief to address the problem of local people on priority bases and provide relief to common men.
Chief Engineer SEPCO briefed that 20 new transformers have been replaced in District Kamber-Shahdadkot and Larkana districts during the past one month, further added that more transformers will be installed with consultation to notable citizens.
He informed that 6 schemes out of 15 have been completed while the rest instatallation of transformers and poles will be accomplished very soon he said. He further informed that the work for the up gradation of 66 KV and 132KV will also complete within the stipulated time in 18 month.
SEPCO Chief apprised that a work shop will be set up at Larkana for the repairing of burnt transformers and facilitation of consumers, it was decided in meeting that SEPCO authorities in the presence of District Administration Larkana will hold open Katchehries for resolution of the problems of over billing, detection in the bills, illegal fines and other issues.
Chief Executive told that 5 transformers of 200 KV and 100 KV 10 transformers will be provided to Naudero city in order to put end the load shedding as well tripping/fluctulations he said.
SEPCO authorities and District Administration will take action to remove illegal connections in the region; he also informed that SEPCO Larkana will provide the 7 more new transformers to CMC Hospital Larkana in two days.
On the occasion, Commissioner Larkana Division Dr Saeed Ahmed Magnejo, Deputy Commissioner Larkana, Chief Engineer SEPCO and Superintendent Engineer SEPCO Larkana alogn with concerned Executive Engineers and other officials were present in meeting.
