Denmark: September 15, 2012. (PCP) Professor Salamat Akhtar Chairman All Pakistan Christian League addressing a meeting of Pakistani Christians and some Danish activists vehemently condemned the production of a film by Sam Becile on the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He added that this film may broaden the gulf between the worshippers of Christianity and Islam and damage the Interfaith Harmony that is the need of the hour. He demanded from The American Government that drastic steps should be taken against him and set an example for others. He further said that Pakistani Christians feel the gravity of the situation and are prepared to stand by with our Muslim brothers against this propaganda to defame Islam.
Professor Salamat Akhtar told the gathering that APCL aims at the unity of the people belonging to various religions and the promotion of good relation among the believers of various faiths and we will leave no stone unturned to materialize our aims.
Izat James, Saleem Masih, Azeem Lal, Naeem Rafique, Robert Sams, Amir Bhatti, Naveed Anwar and some others attended the meeting.
