LARKANA: September 17, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) Country-wide protests by Advocates fraternity, Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) and its different Shia wings, Jamait-e-Islami, PPP (Shaeed Bhutto), Khaksar Terhreek, JUI, Suni Tehreek, PML-N and other civil society against the blasphemous US film on Prophet Muahmmed (PBUH) here on Monday.
They widely condemned the US anti-Islam film and enraged demonstrators chanted anti-American and Israil slogans in a protest and protesters set fires and burnt U.S. flags and effigies in different districts by the social, political and religious groups here in Larkana, Jacobabad, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Dhamrah and other cities against the film mocking Islam.
The Lawyers fraternity among Advocates Alia Rizvi, Advocate Mohammed Ashiq Dhamraho, Sayed Zain Al-Naqvi, Mohammed Hashim, Abdul Wahab Bhutto, Ghulam Rasool Narejo, Shams Abbasi, Oshaq Sangi and others led their prtotest from Court Bar rooms and ended at Jinah Bagh Press Club.
While, Khaksar Tehreek in a protest meeting at Lahori Muhalla condemned the US and its allies for supporting anti-Islam forces against the film mocking an anti-Islam act. They demanded the present government to withdraw diplomatic relations immediately.
Shia wings and Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Larkana chapter continued its protests in city and staged sit in at Jinah Bagh Larkana.
The protest led by Tariq Badvi, Abid Mangi, Haq Nawaz Aiwan, Aijaz Solangi and others.
They took out enraged protest and condemned the attack on Namoos-e-Risalat by US film on Youtube.
JI leaders in Larkana and Dhamrah led their protests over an American film ridiculing the Prophet Muhammad and condemned the film conspiracy that has sparked an outcry in the country.
The protest rallies took out from different destinations and reached at Pakistan Chowk Bunder road and Jinah Bagh Chowk and ended at Press Club on the occasion.
Protesters blocked main raod for several hours and suspended the traffic during the protest and burnt the tyres in Dhamrah also. They chanted slogans against America and Israel.
