WVIP protests against burning of Church in Mardan

(PCP)On 23rd Sept, 2012 at Lahore Press Club, World Vision in Progress and other people belonging to different organizations gather and recorded their peaceful protest against the Burning of our Historical Church St.Paul at Mardan and disappearance of Christian Girl Sumbal Masih. World Vision In progress strongly condemned the burning of the Historical Church St.Paul in Murdan. World Vision in Progress Representatives stated that Pakistani Christians have nothing to do with the people who made the profane movie. Pakistani Christians had already condemned this act of American Director, by raising their voices on different forums. “The Pakistani Christians always respect the other Faiths. WVIP, Demand that the government should take strict action against all those who had burn the Church. We are Pakistani Christians and we do have our equal right to live and follow our religious customs. We wants Jinnah’s Pakistan. World Vision in Progress also condemned the disappearance of Christian girl Sumbal Masih aged 16 years, maid-servant. Who is missing from 14th September 2012; she was tortured and then disappeared by the owner Mr. and Mrs. Adeel resident of 132-J Model town Lahore. Local police did not co-operate with poor parents as Mr. Adeel is influential and rich man. However after the direction from the court last night, police has lodged an FIR no. 413/12 P.S. Model town, against the culprits. But still they are not taking any action by arresting them. Police is supporting and favoring the culprits and threatening the poor Parents to withdraw the complaint otherwise they will be in serious trouble. We request the Chief Minister of Punjab to take notice of disappearance of the maid-servant Sumbal Masih. We request the President of Pakistan, prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief justice of Pakistan to take notice on these issues.
