SHEIKHUPURA, Pakistan: A 25-year-old Christian man remains in critical condition after being shot during a violent altercation in a
Lahore: October 25, 2012. (LEAD) Khuram Masih, a Christian accused of blasphemy was granted bail on 22 October 2012 and released from jail 24 October 2012 by Sayyed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, a judge of the High Court, after furnishing the one surety bond of 100,000 rupees (Nearly US$ 1,000).
Lawyers of the Legal Evangelical Association Development (LEAD), which followed this case, said the 24-year-old man was physically worn out but overjoyed that he survived. He has not stopped thanking God for allowing justice to triumph. His father and family is very happy to know the order of Court, his wife was also over joyed to meet her husband after 11 months. His father was under fear threats and requesting for some security for Khuram.
