Sikh Yatrees to participate in Guru Nannak 536 Birthday in Pakistan.

ATTOCK, Nov 8 (APP): About 3700 Sikh Yatrees would participate in 536th Birthday of Baba Guru Nannak here at Siri Panja Sahib Hassanabdal. This was stated by Deputy Administrator Shrines Syed Faraz Abbas while taking to APP here Tuesday. While giving details he said that 3000 Indian Yastrees would arrive here early morning on Nov 11 by three special trains while 700 Yatrees have already arrived here at Gurdwara and started their religious rituals, these include 130 Yatrees of Kang Group, 225 from Cheema Group, 250 Sanghera Group all from UK and rest from other countries. He further said that other Yatrees coming from India would arrive on Nov 10, and would come to Hassanabdal by special train on Nov. 11. He said that as per agreement between Pakistan and India governments every year 3000 Yatrees would come for the Birthday of Guruannak, 3000 Yatrees for Besahhi Mela, 1000 for Guru Arjun Dev Jee anniversary and 500 Yatrees for Maharaja Ranjeet Singh. He said that these Yatrees would leave back on Nov 12 in the evening after performing "Bhog" ritual. Faraz said that these Yatrees would perform religious rites from Nov 13 to 15 at Nankana Sahib and would stay at Dera Sahib lahore from Nov 16 to 19 and would leave for their native countries.
