LARKANA: December 29, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) An international humanitarian organization Right To Play (RTP) organized Sports Mella and Inter Community Tournament healthy sports activities in the intervention of (RTP) in 50 schools of Kamber-Shahdadkot district.
Speaking on the occasion the civil society and education department officials and NGO participants said that such activities are as a source of inspiration for other children to engage them in various healthy learning activities. They also said that the volunteers’ activities boost the talent of children in different sports and other extracurricular activities they said.
A huge number of Children, teachers participated along with parents also, they were praised the services by the organization. The objectives of RTP to highlight problems of children in order to provide opportunities to young students to develop their life skills and enhance their confidence level to be an active participant in curriculum and extra curriculum activities, RTP working to promote and development of basic life skills in children through sports and games especially in the remote areas.
RTP is working in Kamber district flood affect hit areas since February 2012 and perform various sports-social activities relating to health and education, where HCs perform their learning activities with children.
On the occasion, District Officers and other Education Department female Teachers attended the Sport Mela was organized, which is one of those event to provide platform to young students to share their experiences, skills and knowledge with their fellows and peers.
RTP District Coordinator Tariq Asad told that the 200 children participated in the inter community tournament, while the youth and participants total of 161 and government officials were 14 in the sensitization of sports activities in Kamber-Shahdadkot district he told.
