Global Memorial Day of Pakistani Christian Martyrs in Canada

Toronto: February 1, 2013. (PCP) The five Christian organizations based in Canada have announced that Global Memorial Day of Pakistani Martyrs will be observed on February 23, 2013, in Toronto, Canada. The five Canadian Christian organizations are CCA, Evangelical Asian Church, UCF, CCASA and Good Samaritan; According to a press release, The Memorial Day highlight the sacrifices of religious, community and political who sacrificed lives for oppressed and persecuted Pakistani Christians. The organizing secretary said “We do realize that anyone who shed his blood for this greatest cause should not be left unnoticed/unrecognized. Some of our brothers and sisters undoubtedly suffered persecution silently/voicelessly and gave their lives without being brought in the media and reported” It is also appealed that if you have such valuable information about any of our brother or sister who also sacrificed his/her life should be memorized/highlighted on this special event. The brief introduction of the person, date, place and cause of the incident; any documentary proof will help supplement our evaluation to include such details to be read over on this Memorial Day.
