SHEIKHUPURA, Pakistan: A 25-year-old Christian man remains in critical condition after being shot during a violent altercation in a
Karachi; February 3, 2013. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has expressed grief on death of Professor Dr. Aslam Ziai and condoled to the grieved family.
Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, MPA Sindh, Chairman Standing Committee on Minorities Affairs Sindh Assembly and President All Pakistan Minorities Alliance Sindh condoled the sad demise of Professor Dr. Aslam Ziai who breathes his last on 1st February, 2013.
We pray for his soul may rest in peace and condole the sad demise which is an irreparable loss to the Christian Community of Pakistan as well to the international church. May God give strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear the severe loss.
Rev. Aslam Ziai was a brave and courageous scholar and speaker who had contributed in the spiritual field and inculcated the spiritual massage of the Gospel with his divine wisdom and educated the Christian Community of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Mr. Peter Bhatti, chief of International Christian Voice Canada shares with great sorrow that Rev. Dr. Aslam Ziai, vice principal Gujranwala Theological Seminary slept in Christ on 1st February in Gujranwala. He was the leading scholar in Old Testament and shared his wisdom and knowledge through lectures in various seminaries, Churches and conventions. He has a long association with Gujranwala Theological Seminary and his students hold important positions, not only in Pakistan, but they are serving the Lord throughout the world.
