CCA organizes seminar on opportunities for youth in public service

Toronto, Canada: February 17, 2013. (PCP) Evangelical Asian Church, and Canadian Christian Association (CCA), jointly hosted a very successful Youth Seminar on Saturday, February 9, 2013, in Brampton Ontario. The seminar focused on “Opportunities for Youth in the Public Service”. Around Thirty Youth participated in the seminar despite the inclement weather. Prof. Obaid Chaudry, CPA, CMA, CA., and past president of CCA, Welcomed the youth and Hon. Brad Butt - MP for Mississauga—Streetsville. Mr. Chaudry spoke about the importance of success, getting involved, setting goals, and importance of seeking help and advice, when needed. Mr. Tim Iqbal, advisor of Evangelical Asian Church, addressed the group about the importance of participating in the political, and public services processes. Furthermore, he educated the youth about various opportunities, and, on how to get involved in political processes. In addition, he highlighted the importance of capitalizing on various opportunities. Hon. Brad Butt gave an inspirational talk to the youth, and emphasized to get involved in schools, and political system, to make positive changes. He also gave a synopsis of his journey thru school, and the political process. Moreover, he answered several questions from the youth. Mr. John Gill, MBA., Eng., and President CCA, thanked the entire participant, and especially Hon. Brad Butt, for his time; he also inspired the youth with his motivational speech, which was very much appreciated.
