Christian MPA of Sindh Assembly moves resolution to amend blasphemy laws
Karachi: February 19, 2013. (PCP) PPP minority lawmaker Saleem Khursheed Khokhar has given notice to the Speaker Sindh Assembly under rules and procedure Section 103 sub section 1 of the Sindh Assembly and submitted his resolution on 08-02-2013. The contents of the resolution are as under: -
“This house resolves and recommend to the Government of Sindh to approach the Federal Government to amend the Pakistan Penal Code 295-B and 295-C (Blasphemy Law) and restrict the misuse of the mentioned law”.
