lamabad. February 26, 2013. (Shamim Masih)Another case of a Hindu girl abducted, raped and force conversion to Islam has surfaced as her parents approached a court seeking safety and justice after receiving threats. According to World Vision in Progress- WVIP, a minor Hindu girl, Hamadi Mai lives in Tehsil Yazman, Distt Bahawalpur-southern Punjab province, was forcibly raped and converted to Islam. Hamadi- 15 years worked in the cotton field, Mohammad Imran, son of the landlord abducted her in the cotton field. Narayan (father of the girl) and his family members were threatened, when they went to the landlord for help. Even the local police are not registering the First Investigation Report-FIR against the culprit. It happened in Rinkle Kamari case as well. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/mar/25/pakistani-hindu-court-forced-conversion WVIP is looking to relocate the family and then to proceed the case. Another Hindu lady, Gauri Maai, 30 years from the same vicinity (Distt. Bahawalpur) worked in a cotton factory. Its owner (Mohammad Zahid) raped the married lady, and when her husband complained, they threaten them. When they went for the legal help, Mohammad Zahid with three other Muslim friends kidnapped her. Two days later, the cleric threatens her husband Ram Chandra that if he went to Police for the legal help, he will announce a “Fatwa” and other Muslims will kill them. WVIP is looking forward to relocate this family as well and then to go for the legal petition. Please keep these two cases in your prayer. Yezman, a small town; 30 Hindu scheduled cast families are living in miserable life.
