Philadelphia: March 30, 2013. (PCP) President of All Pakistan Muslim League Pennsylvania State and President of Christian League of Pakistan in America Mr. Anjum Bhatti has highly condemns the cheap act of shoe throwing by a lawyer towards former President of Pakistan General (Rtd.) Pervez Musharraf when he arrived at Sindh High Court building to extend his bail. Mr. Anjum Bhatti raised a question "Are we a crowd or a nation"? because if we are a nation then are we civilized or not? because civilized nations do not act in such a manner of throwing shoe and particularly a member of lawyer fratanity. "lawyers are the cream of the nation counted as elite, qualified ,educated and learned people whose job is to provide justice to the people, thus influencing people's lives, they have the responsibility to be a good role model for the people and show them the right and just path" said Anjum Bhatti expressing concern on incident thrown by a lawyer of Sindh High Court Mr. Anjum Bhatti said "Nation's leader is nation's father and father is not part time but for life while throwing a shoe towards a father or misbehaving and using abusive language does not suit civilized nations when world is a global village and whole world is watching us. therefore by doing such absurd and cheap actions, what message are we conveying to the world? Mr. Anjum Bhatti said that our nation needs unity, harmony, love, peace, justice, tolerance only then our beloved country Pakistan will be a better place to live in. Anjum Bhatti paid greetings to Christians of Pakistan on eve of Easter and appealed them to support APML in forthcoming elections.
