Hundreds of Pakistani Christian participated in United Toronto Christian Convention 2013

Canada: September 5, 2013. (PCP) Fourth Annual United Toronto Christian Convention was held on Aug. 9th, 10th and 11th, at the Coptic Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Over the three days, record crowd of over 1,600 were spiritually blessed with the powerful preaching of Rev. Dr. Jamil Nasir (from Lahore Pakistan), a sprit-filled and very humble servant of the Lord; topics were Salvation, Divinity of Christ, and Persecution and Dependence on the Lord. He also preached at Portico Church, and Church on the Queensway – two large Canadian Churches in Toronto with memberships of thousands. He also received an appreciation certification from Hon. Brad Butt – MP – Mississauga- Streetsville. Friday service was led by Pastor Peter Paul, Saturday by Pastor F.A. David, and Sunday by Pastor Shahid Kamal. Moreover, Pastor Sarwar Din’s church choir, led by Bennett Shazad, sang powerful worship songs all three days of the convention. In addition, special songs were sung by Pastor Suleman Khokhar's, Pastor Peter Paul's, and Pastor Carol Patrick's Churches choirs. A beautiful solo was also sung by Mr. Albert Kamaran. Pastor David also invited Dr. Jamil Nasir to preach at his church on August 25 and many people were blessed there. A special thanks goes to Rev. Dr. David Charles for hosting Dr. Jamil Nasir, Brother Adrees Masih for catering the dinner for three days, and Mr. Tyrone Roiballov for taking the pictures.
