New York: September 27, 2013. (PCP) More than hundred Pakistani Christians were chanting slogans and hoisting play cards against Peshawar Church carnage when Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif was addressing General Assembly at United Nations here today. Pakistani Christian Association in North America PCA was joined by ICCF-USA, HFI, CGDS, GCC, CVOP, PACA and many other organizations, Churches and Canadian Pakistani Christians. Mr. Obaid Choudhry, Mr. Adan Farhaj, Mr. Tabassum and Mr. Raymond Durrani were representing Canadian Pakistani Christians in protest. According to ICCF-USA, protest was held at UN Plaza, New York, on September 27, 2013 in collaboration with Pakistan Christian Association (PCA), International Community Care Foundation-USA, (ICCF-USA), other Organizations and Christian Churches. ICCF-USA response to the attack on Christians as they worshiped in City of Peshawar, Pakistan on Sunday, September 22, 2013: The brutal attack on innocent people at All Saints Church in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan must be addressed by the United Nations, the United States of America and the free world. The exact number of dead and wounded has not yet been established, but according to the official figures 85 people are killed and more than 120 injured. The world at large should be outraged by this genocide against the Christians in Peshawar, Pakistan. The Board of ICCF-USA, the church and community leaders cry out to the world to join us in urging the Pakistan Government to act swiftly and adequately to ensure the safety of all in Pakistan, including the Christian community and to take steps to stop these attacks on Christians and other citizens of Pakistan. It is heinous and cowardly to attack and kill innocent people; mostly women and children who have nothing to do with the US drone attacks as Taliban (extremists) threatened to attack more churches in retaliation of drone attacks in the region by the US. The mainstream media in North America should broadcast boldly about these horrifying and brutal atrocities. Ms. Mariam S. Bhatti of Chairperson CGDS and Mr. Shakeel Raphael, President of CGDS condemned suicide bombing on Christians in Peshawar. Mr. William Shahzad, Chairman of PCA and Mr. Babar Khokhar, President of PCA strongly condemned attack on Peshawar Church and demanded security for Christians in Pakistan.
